Good to see you back! Haven't got Borderlands either or MW2. Been busy with a new baby, but when I have a second, I've been playing God of War Collection. . . the hi def is great. REALLY looking forward to Heavy Rain. I think that may be a game changer. I also agree Netflix streaming on PS3 is SUPER. I didn't think Netflix could get even better than it already was.

Still haven't gotten borderlands. You aren't surprised. Netflix streaming on the PS3 is magical. Glad the cat came back. I've been thinking of going back for a Masters.

You could talk to a therapist, but I've also noticed you've dropped out of a lot of the social things you used to do, like Unique Geek, or Toddcon. We're always here for you.

Take the cats the vet. When cats start urinating in strange ways, they sometimes have bladder infections or other problems.

What are these women thinking? A good question might be- "how many children do they have by different fathers?"

In the state of FL a family or woman with 5 children (children count until they are 22 years of age) would qualify for 952$ a month for food stamps, a free phone, and medicaid for all. There is a white family I know who are just down on their luck. They had to make less than 36,924$ a year(or make 3,077$ a month) to qualify for this amount. You can own a home, house hold goods, personal effects, and vehicles and have 2,000$ in the bank. Things look very bleak in this economy for them.

Then along come the "welfare Queens" who have many children by different fathers. HRS takes the fathers to court to get what they can but it is usually nothing and costs the taxpayers even more to chase after "dads".
Under our system Medicaid has become a welfare entitlement program along with food stamps, etc. and will most likely be the way in households for generations. Our government has allowed the programs to become a way of life.
You might say the male is being used. He is thinking of a night of sex and perhaps a good coke high but is being used for money by the woman or in this case women! He along with his children are victims.

It is how I read the post. The zombie seeds made me think of many "what if" scenes. One was- what if these seeds get mixed in with good seeds (they all look like seeds) and a third world country ends up with the mix of seeds but only a few living plants come up. They did not realize a chemical was needed to activate the seeds or they could not even afford to purchase the "chemical". Millions of poor farmers starve. Children starve.
My Grandpa was a farmer in NH. Seeds were equal to gold or money in the bank. Seeds were saved from crops and traded with other farmers. That gave the farmers a chance for variety and also protection. A late frost might mean a field was re-seeded with a different strain of crop that would florish in the warmer weather of July rather than June as was expected by the first planting. Think of how many types of lettuce there is- beans!
In economics our class learned about "Corporate Capitalism". What a twist on capitalism. If I recall, Corporate Capitalism was described as a capalist marketplace characterized by hierachical,, bureaucratic organziations which are LEGALLY required to pursue a profit. All or most of the means of production are owned by the corporation.
When I worked at Pratt n' Whitney I had to sign a paper agreeing that anything I invented while employed belonged to the company. I signed the paperwork knowing that I would never invent anything in this lifetime and as a data entry clerk ther was no issue. But it was the first time I realized that my father had also had to sign the same paper and he was a designing engineer at Pratt.
The arguement is that most inventors do not have access to labs to work. Perhaps we will never see another Edison. How sad is that!?!
Thomas Jefferson once claimed that corporation would destroy the world- here come the Zombie seeds!!!

Brain fog!?! Perhaps it is hay fever or spring fever:) Welcome back. My friends in the Blue Ridge say all is green and buds abound on the flowers. Dogwood trees are full of flowers, too. Orange trees are in bloom here. News from MT - Great Falls had a foot of snow three days ago.

So far I've not had a credit card problem but more I know folks are. One friend went to the flea market and used her CC. They asked for her ID and proceeded to copy her drivers license along with her CC number. She has been told her ID was then sold with her CC to a number of folks. Her American Express had over 8,000$ which was forgiven. They told her so many happen daily that is is not usually worth the expense of trying to punish the bad folk.

Speaking of fleas- Shadow has not had that issue since he retired to the condo:) Good-luck with that!!!!

Vacation (even as a chaparone) is nice but I'm glad you have a job back on Earth:) Take care-
